The VADA Group Self Insurance Association is a membership association that provides workers compensation insurance for franchised new car & truck dealers and any additional businesses they may own. Founded in 1981 by dealers, VADA GSIA continues to be directed and overseen by dealers.
Today VADA GSIA insures $1.25 Billion in payroll, more than three quarters of Virginia’s franchised dealers. We are one of the 25 largest work comp insurers in Virginia and the second largest Group Self Insurance Association.
Striving to provide the best rates possible while maintaining our financial stability, we return all unused premiums to our dealer members in the form of dividends. In the past 13 years, we have returned nearly $27 million in dividends!
We also provide resources to help our members increase the safety of their businesses and reduce premiums, including a free risk audit each year! We also provide a variety of training resources.
